6 Axis Art explores robotic painting through manually authored geometry. Curves were drawn in Rhino and translated into robotic toolpaths for an ABB industrial robot to trace and paint using watercolor. The project examines how digital drawing can be transferred into physical mark-making, using robotic precision while retaining the visual qualities and variation of a traditional painting medium.
